Alright so, After all th trial & error, i finally installed re-installed wordpress on my website. I started with installing Joomla, then thought of installing wordpress on a sub-domain. But then realised that Wordpress alone can actually suffice for me.
Ohh, and then came the biggest problem, the problem of uninstalling joomla from the root directory.. I deleted all the relevant files, also removed the joomla installation from Fantastico. But no luck, and it did not let me simply install wordpress.
And then came Nitesh Gosalia to the rescue, a good friend and my hosting guy. He re-configured the Cpanel on my domain, and i got a fresh Cpanel once again. And installing wordpress after that was not a tough job, with Fantastico.
So, here i am once again with wordpress on my site. Now, i need to get a good wordpress template, or probably i might have a to buy one. Till then, i will try and do my R & D on the default template here.
